Who was the first "pop" artist in the United States? Students in 5th grade have been learning about this legendary, yet almost forgotten composer. It's Stephen Foster. In his brief career, he wrote over 200 songs. Click his biography link here. The videos below share some of his most famous works, like "Oh, Susanna", "Beautiful Dreamer", and the haunting "Hard Times Come Again No More."

Try to think of a way to compose a jingle that represents your pizza logo and brand. Should you sing words? Should it just use instruments? Remember your jingle should last 30 seconds or less. |
